Jose Castillo’s 11/27/08 WDW Update
Here is our first photo report provided by WDWNT’s Head Technician Jose Castillo. Here is what he saw during his first day trek through the world:
The gingerbread display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
A cool monorail tree inside the Fantasia shop
Some work being done on top of the BVG store
The tree outside the Contemporary
Over at the Magic Kingdom, a look at decorations around Main Street U.S.A.
Exterior work continuing on Pinnochio’s Village Haus
The seating area at Ariel’s Grotto closed until the next Christmas party
I’m sure we have mentioned this, but no more Indy at the Speedway
Coming in 2009, Pace Ountain!!!
The Dapper Dans
The Main Street Band
Jose then boarded a monorail, along the way noticing work on Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
After a second monorail to Epcot, Jose found himself at a Future World Picnic 🙂
The former Wonders of Life waits to open once again in March
All Food and Wine signage has been removed, leaving the last original pavilion sign
May not be long until a sponsor is missing from this sign…
Already missing one here
Those new recycle bins have been added to the Future World section of the park now
Work still going on here, I can’t believe how many pictures of this thing we have had!!!
Lights of Winter and World Showcase tree
World Traveler decked out for the holidays
After a short boat ride, Jose found himself at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where space on this board is hard to come by. Block Party Bash couldn’t even get a time put up
Is it just me, or does it look a little off color?
130 minute wait for Toy Story Midway Mania
Stage 1 is now empty and awaits construction of a new attraction
Work already going on just across the street, as some new characters prepare to move into Pixar Place
A Bolt poster just outside Pixar Place, it’s a shame this great film hasn’t done better at the box office
Jose went back over to the Magic Kingdom that evening to find a nice surprise…
Mickey’s Twas the Night Before Christmas performing at the Galaxy Palace Theater on a non-party night
And finally, how could we have any photo report without this
Stay tuned as we continue to get photo reports from Jose during his trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!!!
