Tom Corless’ 10/2-10/5/10 WDW Photo Report
I spent a few days at Walt Disney World recently to experience the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I took plenty of newsworthy photos to share, so let’s take a look:
It’s the 15th edition of the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot
A huge 15 topiary in World Showcase
Another cake by the Festival Center
A look inside the Festival Center
A map of the Festival Center
The extinct Seasons of the Vine film from California Adventure is once again playing at Epcot
Let’s take a look at some Festival booth menus
This is for the Mexico booth
The Kielbasa and Potato Pierogie
Werther’s “Karamell-Kuche” candy shop has opened in Germany, replacing the Goebel store
The hand made treats look amazing
They also sell a selection of candy like you’ll find in your local grocery store
The window is full of candy
Prices for the hand-crafted items
It gets busy in here and it isn’t wide enough for people to pass, you would think Universal designed it (zing!)
Pictures on the walls of the candy shop
How does this compare to normal store prices?
It’s Oktoberfest in Germany
A new Soarin’ Over California shirt available inside The Land
There is a permanent sign on the Disney Visa meet and greet experience now…
Probably for how popular this has actually become
Some of the soft-line WDW 40th Anniversary merchandise is now available at MouseGear, including these pajamas
This tag is most of the items
Another logo sewn on
These shirts aren’t new, they have just been slightly modified for the 40th anniversary
Some new character shirts allow guests to pick up an inexpensive Halloween costume
Two new Gallery of Lights pieces have made their way to WDW, here is the Mad Tea Party from Disneyland
Also now available, the Jungle Cruise
Moving over to the Magic Kingdom, the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station is now the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant
One sign still says Noodle Station
In Fantasyland, work has begun on the roof of the Mad Tea Party
Rumors indicate that a glass roof similar to the one found at Disneyland Paris may be on the way
Work on Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid is moving along quickly
Work continues on the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Large cranes tower over Fantasyland
The first pieces of the Be Our Guest Restaurant have become visible
A view over the walls shows a parking lot of construction vehicles
The giant pile of dirt is completely gone
Did you know they are still putting these on some broken seats at Stitch’s Great Escape?
The kennels of Walt Disney World are now the Lost and Found
Here’s where the Kennel sign once stood
