We’ve got a few interesting videos & pictures from MintCrocodile of MouseInfo. This first video shows testing of the new Mark VII monorails in the esplanade. The second is of the new pyro being used in the finale of Fantasmic. We also have some pictures of an after hours rehearsal for the PIXAR Play Parade. Do note that they put up a lattice wall, so the floats aren’t very clear.

One of my sources has told me that a Soft Opening for PIXAR Play Parade will be held on March 10th, 2008. There is also one on March 13th, with the parade opening on March 14th.
A Parade Support friend of mine told me some information regarding the new PIXAR Play Parade, debuting March 14th at 5:15pm.
The parade has 9 main units and smaller themed parade elements. With the units and parade elements, there is a total of about 18 elements in the parade. These are listed as follows (not in any specific order):

We’re hearing that soft opening performances for the PIXAR Play Parade may possibly start on March 9th. This is still a rumor & they may or may not happen.
In addition to a Annual Passholder only preview for the PIXAR Play Parade, there will also be a few AP only previews for Playhouse Disney – Live on Stage on March 13th, 2008. There will be 3 showings, at 10:30am, 12:30pm, & 3:15pm. To get in, you just need to show a valid Annual Pass.

We’ve received word from one of our correspondents, that the PIXAR Play Parade will have an Annual Passholder only preview on March 13th at 5:15PM. Also, on cold days, instead of squirting water at guests, bubbles will fill the air through-out the WHOLE PARK! The bubbles will also be there on the warmer days too!
We will have more info on this & other developments surrounding the PIXAR Play Parade as it becomes available.
To prepare everyone visiting the Disneyland Resort during this holiday weekend, I wanted to go over the entertainment schedule for July 4th, as well as the park hours, to make sure everyone can successfully see what they want to see:
If you are planning to visit the Disneyland Resort this weekend, be aware crowds will be massive. Disneyland may even be closed in the afternoon due to the park reaching capacity, and you’ll be re-directed to DCA. Parking may also be an isssue, as I explained in this recent post.
