We will once again present WDW News Today Live! this evening from 8:00pm to 10:00pm EST, and we hope you will join us for yet another fun live program. For those of you who do not know what this is, it is a show broadcasted live over the internet using an application called TalkShoe. By using this application, listeners can hear and interact with hosts, and even dial in by phone to be heard on the program. During the program, we will be answering trip planning questions, as well as discussing the Disney parks in general. This is a great opportunity for everyone at WDW News Today, Disneyland News Today, and The Disney Pincast to interact live with our listeners and we hope you will be a part of it. In order to join us, just do the following:

  • If you will be joining us by computer, go to www.talkshoe.com/tc/20663 anytime near 8:00pm EST this evening and enter the community call. (Note: You may want to head over here earlier and open a TalkShoe account, just in case you want the best experience this evening. Remember you don’t need to register to join in,  we just suggest it.)
  • If you can not use a computer, you can even join by telephone. To do this, just dial (724) 444-7444, then enter 20663 and # as the Call ID Number, and then just enter 1 and # or your TalkShoe Pin Number (if you have a TalkShoe pin number, not required)

We’ve been experiencing a few problems with the site today (what’s new?), meaning that the site had to be re-installed in some aspects. We’ve managed to get the site back to a functioning order, & should hopefully have it completely back to normal tomorrow!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Disneyland News Today is proud to present a brand new redesign to our site. When we first opened the site, the original design never caught the attention of many users and for that brief moment we decided to redesign to our site to make it much more user friendly. Today we introduce a “re-dedication” of Disneyland News Today with a brand new site design and a new user-friendly layout. Indiana Jones Stunt Show Coming to Disneyland

Following very quickly in the steps of our sister site, WDW News Today, I was very happy to see Disneyland News Today linked to in an article on the LA Times Travel Blog! This link was included in an article published yesterday about the new Indiana Jones show for Adventureland:

Indiana Jones swings into Disneyland this summer in a live-action stunt show timed to coincide with the fourth installment of the movie series, “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”

The Anaheim theme park is casting actors with combat experience for the Indy role, a duplicitous female archaeologist and a physically imposing bad guy for “The Summer of Hidden Mysteries,” a staged show to be performed on the balconies, rooftops and streets of Adventureland, according to the Disneyland auditions website. Park visitors would be enlisted to help solve mysteries and uncover ancient artifacts during the performance.

The stunt show ties together the highly anticipated movie opening, May 22, with the theme park’s Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye attraction.

According to the casting call:
* The Indiana Jones character, a rugged adventurer in his 40s, tosses off comic lines, throws a punch and interacts well with children — all with equal ability.

* The female archaeologist, in her late 20s to early 40s with an English accent, starts out kind and helpful but eventually reveals a villainous side.

* The bad guy, a brute with physical agility and stamina, pursues Jones through the crowded streets of Adventureland before a culminating series of balcony and rooftop confrontations.

If the new Indiana Jones movie proves successful, the Disneyland stunt show could take up residence in Adventureland’s current Aladdin’s Oasis theater through Christmas, according to MiceAge’s Al Lutz.

WDWNTube is Now Open!!!

The latest division of WDW News Today has arrived in the revolutionary new video sharing system we are calling WDWNTube, short for the “WDW News Today Tube”. This new site will soon be home to the largest collection of videos featuring the Disney Parks and Resorts, but it will also be home to your videos. In addition to being able to download hundreds of our own videos, WDWNTube will allow visitors to upload videos that they have taken on their trips to the many Disney Resorts around the world and possible have them added to the download directory to be shared with the world. The site is now operating and is currently housing 23 videos that you can download and enjoy right away. You can always visit WDWNTube by going to wdwntube.wdwnewstoday.com, or follow the text links you’ll find on Disneyland News Today, WDW News Today, and The Disney Pincast sites. We will also be setting up a section on the WDWNT Community Forum where you can request and ask questions about WDWNTube videos. So don’t wait, start enjoying and being a part of the Disney Park video revolution today!!!

Our first expansion here on DL News Today came in the form of the Podcast & Vidcast, & that was followed swiftly by the WDWNT Community Forums. Now it’s time to announce the first of 2 expansions coming to DLNT this week!

We are now on Twitter, the online social networking system for web owners. You can find us at online at www.twitter.com/dlnewstoday, or by viewing our Twitter Tools widget on the sidebar (coming later tonight or tomorrow). This will get updated regularly & hopefully with information relating to whats going on with my life, the podcast, website, & more!

Just a Few Posts Deleted

I don’t know how or why this is happening, but we’ve seemed to of lost a few posts from the last couple of days. I shall be working on restoring these posts, & I’m sorry if this causes any inconvenience to anybody.

UPDATE: Most of the important & up-to-date posts have been re-added, thanks to the help of a website called Technorati. Apparently our site has a page on Technorati, so I used it to put up all of the deleted posts. To read the deleted posts that have not been re-added, visit our Technorati page. You can also look to our Technorati page if we ever have any posts being deleted problems again.
