Josh Siegel’s 9/11/10 WDW Photo Report
WDWNT Reporter Josh Siegel spent his Saturday roaming the parks of the Walt Disney World Resort, and he has a number of newsworthy photos to share with us:
The Fantasyland crane is visible from far away
There are so many tarps on Main Street, you can see them from outside the park
The Magic Kingdom is decked out in its Halloween finest
Work continues on the Exposition Hall
This is almost as ridiculous as the Peter Pan facade at this point…
Casey’s is still under tarps too
Night of Joy took over the Tomorrowland stage for a few nights
Everybody wants to ride Space Mountain in “Starry-O-Phonic sound”…
Even Dale!!!
The strange Fantasyland walls in the middle of the Tomorrowland Speedway are still up
Work continues on the facade of Winnie the Pooh
There seems to be a lot more activity behind the walls now
Over at Winnie the Pooh, the old facade has been ripped clear-off
Back on the other side, the large pile of dirt still stands
A lot of activity down there
From Dumbo, we can see a lot more
That large pit is supposedly a new Cast Member access tunnel
Blurry, but you can see how deep it goes
Peter Pan’s Flight, say it with me, still behind tarps!
No visible exterior changes on the “it’s a small world” refurbishment
Signage still up at the former entrance
Some walls have come down in Liberty Square, and the facades look great!
Donald Duck’s meet and greet area in Frontierland is behind walls
New railings being installed in Liberty Square
You can see where the old ones were sawed off
Do we dare go in to Crystal Palace?
We do, where everyday is now a Friendship Day Celebration
More Main Street tarps, surprise!!!
Halloween merchandise inside The Emporium
Goodbye Magic Kingdom
Hello Epcot, can’t wait to say hello to Food and Wine
Hacienda De San Angel is almost done and ready to serve guests
A peek inside…
Walls are down around most of the building
Big changes in MouseGear as they are replacing all the registers and instituting the awful “single-line system”
Who’s Ron?
