Josh Siegel’s 7/29/10 WDW Photo Report

WDWNT’s newest reporter Josh Siegel visited the Walt Disney World Resort on Thursday and has plenty of newsworthy photos to share in this report:

People look confused by the facade work at the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at the Magic Kingdom

Still only two entrances though, it shouldn’t be that hard to navigate

Most of the facade is now behind tarps

The signage and the tent-style roofing are already coming down

We could have just closed the ride….

The tent portions of the facade are no longer visible

Really?

I MUST try those potato chips…

Work continues on the Fantasyland Expansion on the former plots of Pooh’s Playful Spot and Ariel’s Grotto

Some trucks…

More trucks…

You can see that pipes are starting to be laid, it’s going to be a while before we see vertical construction

Not sure what we’re looking at…

Peter Pan’s Flight has some new tarps that stretch down to Mickey’s Philharmagic

I’m starting to think we’ll never see this building again…

Fastpass clock has neat holes through the tarps to show you the times

This entrance we’ve had since 2005 will be history soon, the entrance is moving back down to the other side near Pinocchio’s Village Haus during an upcoming refurb

How precise…

Tarps still up on the side of Liberty Tree Tavern

One covered area still on the roof

Work continues on the Main Street U.S.A. facades

Casey’s is starting to emerge

The Plaza Restaurant is uncovered and looking good

This planter between Main Street and the Tomorrowland Terrace is still covered up

Some of the Emporium still behind tarps

I never noticed the missing windows on the bottom level

This is becoming a regular site on Main Street

Exposition Hall is being eaten by tarps….

The end section near the Train Station has emerged looking refreshed

The back portion of Exposition Hall remains closed while Mickey and Minnie’s new home is being built

Time to take the monorail over to Epcot

The Grand Floridian is looking very nice after some exterior refurbishments the last three years

The Transportation and Ticket Center is replacing many of the awnings over the ramps

The rusted ones were removed, the clean ones are going up

Welcome to Epcot

Does Behind the Seeds really need to be on a directional sign…

We’ll get you Tron-O-Rail!!!

Mandatory Captain EO pictures

I had no idea!!! 😉

Return between blank and dot…. or just remove the Fastpass machines….

Tragedy strikes again at Epcot this week….

I guess after people saw Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, they would jump to their doom to escape….

Let’s take another look at that new exhibit in the Japan pavilion

Walls coming down at Via Napoli for a private preview event

The building is quite beautiful

However, look to the upper-left corner and you’ll see some un-themed walls…

Cast memebers explain to guests why they can’t eat there yet

A look at the menu

The female cast member costumes for Via Napoli

Work continues on Hacienda de San Angel

They have topped the structure

Can you spot the hidden ladder?

Found it!

These ladders aren’t so hidden

Looks like the restaurant will have an archway almost identical to the old Cantina de San Angel

WE DON’T NEED THESE SIGNS!!!

Bye Epcot

AH HA!

A bright flash of light and the Tron-O-Rail arrives….

Wait a minute… there’s a monorail in there!!!
