First Look at Brand-New Disney Store in Times Square
While it isn’t a dose of Disney news from Orlando, the Disney Store is set to officially open its brand new flagship store in New York City on Tuesday afternoon. Even though the store is not officially open yet, it has been operating normal hours since Thursday, a soft opening of sorts to put it in park lingo. WDWNT Lead Reporter Tom Corless was able to visit the store a few times over the weekend and has hundreds of photos to share from the Disney Store in Times Square, so let’s take a look:
The facade is made up of a large screen and several very small screens scattered through square glass windows
The store is located in a small section of what used to be the Virgin Megastore utilizing tow of the four floors for retail and the other tow for storage and offices
The entire facade changes between many themes and the Disney letters even get in on the fun
Don’t believe the sign, it’s open for business
